Lesson Horses
Below are the currently available lesson horses at Optimum Time Equestrian. We offer leasing options on our lesson horses, please inquire for availability and more information
OTE Make A Splash or "Cali" -
Cali is a 14.2h paint cross, and has been a part of our lesson program for over three years. She is a lovely and easygoing mare, and has the versatility to be suitable for beginner to advanced riders. Cali does it all - from calm trail rides, teaching a new rider posting trot, exciting cross-country schools, even to competitive horse shows, she is the girl for the job!
Ruby Slippers or "Dorothy" -
Dorothy is a 13.3h Welsh cross mare. She has been part of the team at Optimum Time Equestrian since the very beginning, and has proven to be a very fun lesson pony! Dorothy has an impressive repertoire, including cross country clinics with Boyd Martin, many off-property trips, and more. She is a firecracker and has a forward motor, and so she is typically recommended for riders with more experience. However, she is an excellent and experienced jumper, and any rider will be sure to have a great lesson with her!
Mani Pedi -
Mani Pedi is a 16.1h Thoroughbred mare. Although she had an exciting and successful racing career before coming to our farm, Mani Pedi has the personality that makes for a fantastic lesson horse. She is very smart and willing to do anything, and has a natural talent that many experienced riders will enjoy.
